WHAT: The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health presents “Hablando de la Salud de la Mujer”- a one-day conference dedicated to educating women and helping them make informed decisions about health, well-being and personal safety for themselves and their families.

WHY: Studies show that women make up to 90 percent of the health care decisions for themselves and their families. “Hablando de la Salud de la Mujer” conferences are created to help women “make informed decisions about health, well-being and personal safety for themselves and their families.” In addition, this event enhances the lives of women right here in El Paso and raises funds for local community outreach programs through the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health.

COST: Tickets are $20 for a day that includes continental breakfast, national keynote presentations, elegant lunch, pampering, educational gifts valued at $200, and a variety of health screenings.
